Treatment Philosophy:

I believe psychological assessment should help us understand the whole person. Test scores provide valuable information, but they capture only one part of a child’s or adolescent’s story. I consider those results alongside behavioral observations, individual history and the context of a young person’s daily life to help build a meaningful understanding of their strengths and needs.

My approach is patient, supportive and nonjudgmental. I recognize that testing can feel unfamiliar or intimidating, and I strive to create a warm environment where each young person feels comfortable, respected and encouraged. Through rapport-building, clear instructions and flexibility within standardized testing procedures, I support clients in doing their best. Working under clinical supervision, my goal is to contribute useful information that helps families, clinical teams and educators make informed decisions about educational planning, personalized interventions and supports.
