Dr. Juliao’s approach may include trauma-informed care, IFS-informed therapy, interpersonal, relational, and humanistic perspectives, as well as mind-body and neuroscience-informed methods.

I believe that every person must be understood within the full context of their life. This includes physical health, emotional experience, relationships, environment, personal history, and the challenges they are currently facing. I do not view symptoms or concerns in isolation. Instead, I work to understand how the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual parts of your life may be connected.

My approach focuses on building upon your existing strengths while supporting greater well-being, resilience, and self-understanding. I believe therapy should be collaborative, educational, and practical. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, navigate difficult experiences, and make meaningful changes that support your overall health and quality of life.

In my work, I integrate mind, body, and spirit perspectives. I may draw from somatic, interpersonal, internal family systems, and neuroscience-based approaches depending on your needs and goals. I have a special interest in supporting clients with trauma healing, fears, chronic pain, chronic illness, lifestyle change, athletic performance, weight management, and adjustment to temporary or permanent life-changing events.

I also value collaboration as part of integrated care. When helpful, I work with colleagues from a variety of specialties to support both your physical and mental health needs. My goal is to provide care that recognizes you as a whole person and supports healing, growth, and improved well-being.
