Total Health & Wellness Associates is structured to help providers build sustainable practices while focusing more of their time and attention on the clients they serve. Our support includes billing and collection services, competitive compensation opportunities, professional collaboration, educational resources, flexible work options, and access to facilities across our locations.

Provider compensation is based on revenue collected from insurance claims and client payments. Our designation as a CMS Center of Excellence and participation in the Physician Group Incentive Program help support reimbursement rates and quality-program uplifts that may be higher than those available in many other practice settings.

Every reasonable effort is made to collect amounts due from insurance claims, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and private-pay balances. Providers are paid by direct deposit on the first and fifteenth of each month.

Our team manages insurance billing, claims follow-up, payment collection, and related administrative processes on behalf of providers. Providers receive transparent reporting that reflects claims submitted, payments collected, provider fees, insurance adjustments and write-offs, denials, corrections, and other activity affecting reimbursement. This information is included within patient statements, payroll reports, and bi-monthly provider statements.

Our established billing and payer relationships allow providers to serve clients with a wide range of coverage and payment needs.

The practice accepts:

  • Medicaid and Medicare
  • Many commercial insurance plans
  • Workers compensation
  • Auto insurance claims
  • Veterans and VA contracts
  • Independent medical evaluations
  • School assessments
  • Private-pay clients

This broad access supports both the communities we serve and the ability of providers to grow their practices.

Clinical consultation and collaboration are valued and encouraged throughout the practice. Providers have opportunities to connect with professionals across mental health, psychological assessment, medical, and wellness disciplines.

Supervision is available for eligible students and limited-license professionals, creating opportunities to build experience, strengthen clinical skills, and develop within a multidisciplinary practice environment.

Continued education and professional development are encouraged and supported.

When possible, practice leadership provides access to learning opportunities that extend beyond traditional continuing education. This may include bringing recognized leaders and specialists into the practice to work directly with team members and the surrounding community.

Providers may work remotely, in person, or through a hybrid arrangement. In-person care may be offered from our Farmington Hills, Rochester Hills, or Flint locations based on provider needs and space availability.

This flexibility allows providers to shape a practice model that supports their professional goals, client needs, and work-life balance.
